battery charging
have a 2007 club car precedent 48 volt, been sitting 1 -2 months, tested voltage at 48.5 volts. when hook up charger and turn on goes to 15 amps, charger will run for about 15 minutes and then reset button will kick out.
clean cables ends and posts, when hook up last cable end is thier suppose to be large arc, tried at all ground ends |

You may have already done some damage to electronics by NOT TURNING RUN-TOW to "TOW" before unhooking any batterys cables? Always use listing in owners manual step by step before doing anything to batterys or cables and controls.
Are you talking about reset button on front of charger? If so go to STICKIES under "Complete Manual For Power Drive Chargers? to trace cause of your problem. |

there shouldn,t be any large sparkage when hooking up cable unless you have a run tow switch and you left it in run.......i,m not sure if you caused any damage but you might have.............not sure why your charger would trip off if all was ok when you parked it but best thing now is put it in tow and clean and tighten all cable ends and try charger.......post results......................
