Default Little voltage help and various questions

Hi all been creeping here for actually 2 years. I ended up replacing a part in my 48v charger when it wouldn't turn on (damned if I remember, think it was a relay I was able to bypass had like 3 wires...) any who onto my problem

I melted a battery post. Checked voltage on mm it reads 17.9 per battery or if I go from pos of battery 6 ( under pass seat, the one where connected wire on pos goes to back of cart) and neg of batty one ( under driver seat the one where on neg a cable goes to back of cart)the total voltage reads 107.

What's going on? Am I doing something wrong? I'm assuming this is why my charger hums but nothing is happening. I reset obc and tires went to turn before I saw sparks and the melted post. I understand this colt be from a loose connection etc but whats up with the voltage of each battery? Are they really that high?!

2000 cc 48v 220 amp stock controller and motor (silver controller, regen 2 correct?)

I'll try the new battery, I'm not a small electric type of guy (I could build ya a house and everything in it, have a bachelors in computer sci and another in biology....soldering, use of a mm, negative. If it sparks it's live if it doesn't poke it to be sure....thanks Scotty (I'm Scottie)

I'll check and get it running first. It was running fine, hooked up the charger and it was humming so I walked away. Next day came back and battery light was on. Cart wouldn't go. Figured it was because I recently fixed a red wire that had rubbed through (10ga ish wire connected to pos post of same battery that's connected to red wire that goes to rear of cart) so reset obc cart acted like it was gonna take off til I saw sparks/melted post. Figure I'll get that worked out and test/upgrade what I like from there.

Does anyone know which 400amp alltrax I can get? Model number? Think I'll upgrade controller and not the motor as this motor should handle the 400amp any who

You would be looking for the DCX400IQ
this control will disable the regen, give added torque and speed up to 24mph

Let know if I can help you find one
