Where do you guys get your parts?
I just bought a 1999 club car today. I am very excited about getting started on it. This is my first time building a cart. Where do you guys get your parts? I was looking on a parts site and it said the motor I was looking at was for a Solid State cart. What is that? I know my selector switch is a toggle if that helps. Also Im looking to make this a hunting buggy, what is everyones recommendations on upgrades?

Mostly China..
Check the site sponsors link on the main blue bar. You will get great service and be less likely to have problems. If you cant find what your looking for there post what you need and someone here will point you in the right direction. |

The best thing I can suggest is start reading all you can read regarding the model and year of your cart. All the knowledge is here from everyone who has done everything from one extreme to the other. Find similar carts that are used the way you want to use yours and see what they like or dislike. Then make a list of mods in common with what you would like to do. and.....Welcome to BGW!!! |

Re: Where do you guys get your parts?
Luckily, we have a good place in the Richmond area (Nationwide Golf Car in Mechanicsville) that sells parts for a reasonable price. Their cart prices are also the best in the area, and they have some decent carts. I think all they sell are Club Cars. I ordered a couple of parts from Ebay, though, because of the distance between the shop and where I live.
