Default Help with tire size on 6" lift

Hey guys, new here and need some advice. Just purchased a 2005 Club Car Precedent from a dealer, with a 6" Jake's lift (6232) and rear seat. I was a little concerned with the height of the cart (safety with children riders). The dealer said that he could change the tire size to lower it a little. He put on 4 brand new Kenda Speedracers that measure 18x10x10. I'm happier with the height, but something seems off. I swear the tires are rubbing on the spindle. Does that tire size seem appropriate, or should I have him put the originals back on? Any recommendation for tire size? I am in a neighborhood with some hills. Will off-road some, as we have a lake. Would like to haul a small jon boat eventually to put in. Thanks for your help.

What Shadowman said ^^^^^

The problem probably is that with the 10 inch tires you need either wheels that are offset or spacers. What this means is that say the wheel itself is 8 inches wide, then the mounting holes are probably centered at 4 inches in form each side. You'll need a wheel that is offset by an inch or two, say 5-3. The simplest wat to correct this is with a set of spacers sold by many of the site spnsors. If you are not looking for fancy wheels, a better way to go might be to by some correct steel wheels.
