much cheaper..................are you sure your reading voltage right? use your meter on each battery and see what voltage each battery has......write it down and post #,s than put the pos. probe of meter on the pos. terminal of the rear pass. side battery and neg. probe on neg. terminal of rear drivers side battery see what voltage you get and post it.........that is if they are 8 volt batteries..................

13 hours of charging and 16V's, I also bet the batteries are DRY! Did you check the water? Either way, they are shot!

I wouldn't even consider trying to change from electric to gas. You can spend about $600 and get batteries, or just sell the cart for what you can get out of it and buy a gasser.

It isn't that hard to change a set of batteries. Maybe you can find a friend that will let you take their batteries out and put in your cart to test for other problems before you spend any more money.

Or just use 2 sets of jumper cables, unhook from your battery set, hook both leads of one set to the other carts most neg and to the same on your cart, and the other set to the most pos on the other cart and to the same on yours to see if you can make yours move a little.
