Tie rod ends making noise!!!
I had a lot of noise coming from the front end on my 07 precedent after I added HD springs and larger rims and tires so I put new king pins in and still have the noise. When I jack the front end up and shake the wheels the tie rod ends rattle. If I replace them is this gonna keep happening because of the mods I have done? Is there a better tie rod that I can buy?
Thanks |

Re: Tie rod ends making noise!!!
have you tried to tighten the nuts more? never heard of a tie rod end rattle.....a clunk here and there.......jack one side up at a time and than grab wheel at 9 and 3 oclock and go back and forth see if theres movement if so its bad if not its ok.......not sure about better quailty parts if you can find a place that does off road modding they may have an answer...............

Re: Tie rod ends making noise!!!
Sounds good I will try that. The only reason I think it's the tie rod is because when I put a hand on it and have someone shake the wheel it stops...I'll give the 9 and 3 method a shot. Maybe it's something else.
