Battries to low to start charger
I have a 98 Club Car that I let the battries go dead on. I had this problem before and I bypassed the relay inside of the Power Drive charger. I can't remember which wires to switch to make charger see enough voltage to start charging. Any help would be appreciated

Re: Battries to low to start charger
Welcome to BGW!
Pull the 2 wires off of the relay and connect them together. The charger is will be forced on with NO CUTOFF feature. Check the pack voltage every 30 minutes. When the battery pack reaches 37v (under charge) disconnect the charger put the relay wires back where they belong and reconnect the cart and AC. The charger should now operate normally. The normal cut off voltage should be around 44-46v or 16 hours whichever comes first. |
