Default DC plug wiring

Guys I did a dumb thing. I had a damaged DC plug and removed it last season to replace. I picked up a new one yesterday and went to put it on and can't find the old one to tell me how it's wired. Does the black wire go to the positive or negative side of the plug? I'd like to get this changed tonight and the dealer I bought it from closes on Mondays. Thanks for the help. BTW it's a 36V CC.
