Default 2007 Precedent Electric 3.3 horse Can I lift it?

I am looking at purchasing a 2007 Club Cart Precedent. It is electric with a 3.3 horse. Is this a good cart to put a lift and larger tires on. Is the low end torque and motor sufficient? Thanks for any info!

Hi, I have the same cart and it runs great lifted. I do have a faster motor, though. I love my '07 and although it came with 4 12v batts, it is plenty fast with lots of run time. I may invest in some 4g wires and a 500 amp controller for more acceleration and torque going up hills.

Do it!

Thanks guys for your feedback. If I was to lift one of these precedents, I get the feeling I shouldnt go to big with the new tires and rims. It may slow down the performance too much. Maybe 10" wheels and 18" tires with a 3" lift. What do ya think.

I've got a 2005 Precedent, All Sports 6" A-Arm lift, 14" wheels w/ 23" off road tires, aftermarket controller and motor. Lots of fun to drive.

I have a 2008 Precedent with stock controller, after market body, custom seats, All Sports 6" lift and 23" tires. It's drives great, around 22 mph on flat ground.

I wouldn't hesitate to use a Precedent with a 6" lift. Mine drive great. I got rid of two EZ GO's becuase the Club Car drive so much better.

Mine has a jakes 6" lift and 10" wheels w/sahara tires. It is great and runs around 25 mph. I don't think larger tires would be a problem.

I say GO FOR IT!!!! I have an '06 Precedent w/6" of lift, 12" wheels, 23" tires and with the stock drivetrain it had plenty of power. But be prepared, eventually you will get the bug and want more. I have done several upgrades and on a good charge, flat road and low wind it will run 31 mph.

You guys sure good some great looking carts. Does the stock electric precedent come with just the 3.3 horsepower? Or are there some other stock electric sizes?
