Quick Question
Does anyone know off the top of their heads what size/length U bolts are needed when going from stock single leaf spring to 4 leaf HD rear springs? Also, what Monroe shock would be substitute for stock shock? Does new shock need to be longer than stock ones? I want to gather parts prior to taking my 99 CC apart to install these items. Thanks in advance.

Re: Quick Question
I just replaced the original spring setup with the HD 4 leaf beacause of a back seat install. All the original hardware fit the new springs. You just have to have the jack in the right place. The shocks fit also. Hope this helps

Re: Quick Question
I bought mine from rockytopcarts and it was stated use of original hardware and a 1 hour install. The first part was correct. You will probably need at least two new leaf spring shackle bolts for the front mount. Mine were really rusted. But the rear bolts were ok to reuse. The 4 leaf setupm comes bolted in the center and the bolt fits right into the existing bracket with no problem. Just a tip--disconnect your brake cables at the wheel(pin and cotter key) this will make reinstall so much easier. If any more questions don't hesitate.

Re: Quick Question
Good luck with the rain,my only other suggestion would be to do one side at a time that way you have a reference to check. Spray all your bolts with a spray before you try them mine were somewhat difficult to remove. Take your wheel off also this will give you more access. Good luck the springs after install are great worth the work. Randy
