Default 99 Club Car Not Charging

I have a 99 Club Car that will not charge. At first it would not move or charge so I replaced the OBC. Now it will run but will not charge. I have verifed it is not my charger as I tested my charger on my friends and vice versa. Does anyone have a wiring diagram of the charging system or know of anything else that would cause it not to take a charge. My batteries are not even 6 month old. Thanks for any help.

check the Sticky there is a Manual download for the Charger. Have you checked the yellow fuse that sits behind the charger plug on the cart (its a 3/8amp glass fuse) its part of the OBC communication wire to the charger.

Have you checked battery pack for amount of voltage as charger will not turn on unless pack voltage is above about 36-38 volts on a 48 volt pack.

how about the fuse on top of charge receptical? is that ok and did you hook up all wires as should be?...........the 3/8 fuse in the grey wire very very rarley do they go bad but its worth checking....... are you sure when you took the 10 gage black wire off the charge receptical to replace OBC you didn,t twist and break that fuse inside? that i have seen on a few occasions.......theres not much more there unless you got a bad OBC thats letting the cart run but not charge.............you can also try bypassing the low voltage sensor in the charger and try it if the charger comes on and charges that would tell you its a problem with the new OBC....and welcome to BGW........................

Easiest way to test charger is to go to 3/8 yellow fuse behind charger receptical and with jumper go to ground on battery pack ( rear battery under drivers seat MINUS POST ) this should allow charger to start.

Ok charger problems
1. what does it do nothing, or you here a click, does the ammeter move, is everything quiet.
anything you can give, will help us focus on the problem, otherwise you will get shotgun answers.
