Default Heavy Duty Running Boards I can stand on ?

I have a CC DS and am looking for the heaviest duty diamond plate running boards I can find. I would like to find some with supports strong enough to actually stand on ( 250 lbs ) . I built a cart for my father in law and added a ski/ wakeboard rack to the top : ) He is too short to reach it.
Any Ideas ?

its not much of a frame down there but i suppose if you find a set and attach them to the frame rail the right way you might be able to......than again you might be asking for to much ......i wish i knew but thats one i have never tried but if you don,t use the bagwell area how about some sort of a stand up rack back there? .............................................

I am starting to think you are right shadow. I haven't gotten any nibbles on this post so they must all be pretty lightweight, cosmetic boards : (

Look at the boards on my 2006 Precedent, (view my signature,)... they hold me and I'm 200+/- and they bolt to the frame. As far as 250 lbs not sure but if additional cross-members were used connecting both sides and bolted to the frame as well then maybe they'd be even better supported. I'm sure some of the vendors here can make them or order them... ask them directly if they can

Here are some extra pictures of the bottom of my cart... they might help as well.

I weigh 235 lbs (according to the scale in Winn Dixie) and I have a set of these on a CC DS at the shop that I stand on all the time. Rock solid units. Talk to ScottyB and i am sure he can hook you up with a set at a reasonable price.

Are these the same type Bud attached pics of? Do they also have brackets that go to the frame for support? I think you guys have found me a winner if so : ) Those are good looking boards too !!! Thanks!!!

No, they are not the same ones that Scuba posted, I haven't seen those that he posted before. These do NOT go under the car at all. they have bolts that go through the floorboard and through the side rail. The strenght comes from the bends and welds. What I like about these is that they also have a small amount of protection from sand and rock kicked up by the front wheels.... somewhat of a stationary mud flap......

If I can remember to do so, I will take a pick of them tomorrow at work to show how they look on a DS...
