If you have access to a mechanical 12 volt load tester, it will do fine on 6 or 8 volt batts. but you will not know what the actual voltage drop is on the meter, so take a digital voltmeter and connect it to the clamps of the mechanical meter, that way you can use the mechanical to do the load test , while also watching the digital meter to see what happens to the voltage. no more than a ten second test per battery as already stated above.

Thanks 2livehappy, but the problem I have is these batteries were in the cart when I purchased it from Vero Motorsports; the batteries are SAMS Club and are junk. I have since replaced with new Trojans and now it zips like a new one.
