2001 cart is all I know but it dont seem worth it to me to change it over. It looses power quickly with good batteries in it. Thanks for your help.

check battery fill holes if there are 3 its a 36 volt cart if 4 than its a 48 volt cart...........what year are the batteries? it will be stamped right by the terminals...........have you tested the batteries, load tested them......checked the cels with a hydrometer....what kind of shape are the cables in? it could be as simple as bad batteries or loose dirty connections..........get a volt meter and charge the cart when done take voltage readings off all batteries........you want at least 6.5 volts if its 36 volt or 8.5 if its 48 volt .............so check these things out and post voltage readings..........when checking cables don,t just look at them grab and tug each one to be certain its tight.......................................

It is a 36 volt cart that I am sure of. It is at the beach so I wont be able to post until next week. But I now have a direction I can look at. Thanks for your help.
