Default Power washed 1996 CC and now slow going

I power washed my 1996 CC 48v two days ago and now it is very weak acting

'96 was the 1 yr CC used a 0-5k potentiometer mounted under the floor on the driver side. Chances are you got water in it if you were spraying under the cart?

Its probably wet and that switch is 25 bucks.

I jacked it up and there is no switch. I am not sure why but I took the pie shaped switch the foot pedal is connected to out and I can maually move it all the way up and it goes decent. I am not sure what to do now.
