Default Re: Quest for smoother ride

Total human payload for the rear seat is under 100 lbs. I don't allow adults on the rear seat.

I looked in the wheel wells and do see some rubbing marks from the tires, but mild. I believe this is only from the occasional major road repair I didn't see coming, or at least didn't look that big during approach. Again, what seems normal and mild in a car feels like a mountain in a club car!!

I have found drop spindle kits, A-arm kits, super sport kits, and long travel suspension kits. What offers a smoother ride, can handle the road repairs, while offering better handling than stock?

How much will larger tires/wheels help? I need to find the happy medium between speed/torque/ride quality.

HD leaf springs are always added after one installs a rear seat. The seat alone is heavy even without anyone on it. Look underneath while someone pushes up and down on the cart's rear end. How much actual play is there? Less then an inch?
