I found out the same thing, all bolts, rod where overseas. I did find some machine shops that specialize in fastners, but had big min orders.

So, we need some threaded solid copper, from somewhere.

Are we sure 5/16 is the biggest that will fit? Maybee 3/8 ?

I was just gonna run a #2 around the OBC and hook both the #2 and stock 6 gauge up, but I like the idea of only one cable.

My wifes uncle owns several cnc's up in PA, they do alot of railroad work, brass and such, I will call him and see if he has any solid rod.

No luck with uncle, they use mostly flat bar stock, he has never used round or square stock.

There is a place around the corner called Acme surplus, going by there in the morning, they have stuff there even the owners couldn't identify
if they have whats needed I will pick some up and let yall know.

If anyone is near Orlando, they should stop by Skycraft on Fairbanks and take a look around.
