OK, does the key stay in when on, or do you just push it in and turn then remove the key? Who carries them?

Scudabud, I just picked one of these up on Ebay. Is the wiring pretty straightforward? Did you have to make any adjustments to the dash for mounting? Thanks!

Wires either way for off-on as long as it's the 2 wire switch. Fits right in as well, might need to keep spacer out.

I'm in a resort where kids like to go joy-riding from time to time. I just put a cable lock through the steering wheel and seat handle, or when away I switch from run to tow. Won't stop a determined thief, but probably enough to deter the joy-riders.

Yes it stays in when you insert the key and turn it on

I purchased mine from Demon Cycle but I'm sure some of our vendors carry them as well.

I would say a hidden kill switch or get a few unpaid parking tickets and then the city will help you with a boot lol

Thanks for the barrel key idea. I looked on ebay and saw the 3 position keys first, then found this source for the 2 position:
