Default golf cart security

I have heard that club car uses generic keys (alike) and was wondering what you all were doing to ensure no one drives off with your cart. Going to Myrtle beach in a couple of weeks and I have heard taking golf carts are becoming a problem.

Well you could change out the ignition switch but I look at it like if they want it they will get it. It's not like they can out run you in it, LOL seriously it only makes it easier for a thief to steal if they have a key. JMO

Let one of your kids stand beside it with a shotgun. No one will care to try iy out then!!!

Seriously, from my research, there are security systems similar to car alarms; however, I dont know how good they are.

Why not use a "Denver Boot"-style wheel/tire lock? Renders the cart all but immobile. You can find them on ebay....http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ht_3736wt_1493
