Default Speed sensor for CC Precedent

How do you check to see if a speed sensor is bad on a 2006 CC Precedent? If bad, how do you get the magnet out? Thanks.

Two tests
1. with key on in fwd push the cart fwd or rev and you should feel the motor hold the cart back.

2. do a search for bench testing a speed sensor
3. while you at it another search for repairing a speed sensor

isn't your problem high speed cutout?? when you remove the speed sensor you will see the magnet on the motor shaft.

unless the maganet is cracked...leave it alone ..most likely it is only the sensor.

This thread is 8 years old. You should start a new thread to ask for help on your cart. How do you know what you are replacing is bad?
