Maybe we can check shipping cost worst case. I've been in Mexico so I've not been on it like I should've. I'm leaving the sixth for two weeks of training for the army.

Let me know, im in central Florida and would be willing to move some parts if needed around this area. I also have a decent amount of misc cc parts laying around if anything is needed.

I would really like to see this happen. I am willing to make a donation to help out for parts or whatever.

Hey GABD83,

I haven't read all the posts yet, but I think you have a pretty good idea, and I live relatively close to you. In the future I'd be interested in collaborating.

In the Spring I'll be studying Electrical Engineering at GATech (oops you're a dawg fan huh?), and hopefully that knowledge will directly help my cart building. In fact I was planning on researching ways to make golf carts even more friendly/accessible to the elderly, as part of my senior project.

Who knows, maybe there might be a charity in the future that does nothing but donate carts to soldiers.

I'll get my PM abilities in just another post or two, maybe we'll have to touch base.

(p.s. Thanks for your service. I served in the reserves/guard for 6 years but didn't do anything noteworthy.)

If anyone up that way can pick it up and make half of the trip to Richmond Va, I will meet half way and bring it in and do lift and wrap then send it south.

Anyone?

If someone can get a shipping quote, I believe there is enough of us that will offer donations to cover it. At least we can get this thing going.
