***cart build for wounded soldier***
Ok guys, as some of you know, I was wounded in Afghanistan. I was lucky enough to physically bounce back 100% from my injuries, but a lot of service members aren't so lucky. I get invited to a lot of events by Hope For The Warriors and I meet a lot of GREAT guys. Hope For the Warriors does a lot of great things for wounded service members. They have sent me on a couple of trips and they were the orginization that payed to get my dog out of Afghanistan. My goal is to build a custom cart for them to donate to a wounded service member that has a tough time getting around, and maybe lives on a farm or in a golf cart community. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in donating parts. I am going to go to all of the local golf courses and see if I can get a cart donated. If any of you have one you could donate, or know a course that does, I will come and pick it up. I want to do a series cart bc their parts are so much easier to come by. I am going to find a local body shop to custom paint it in a flag job with the Hope For the Warriors logo. I would also like to add the company logo or even the individuals names in the paint that donate parts. I have spoken with Hope For the Warriors and they are going to find me the perfect candidate. I will give all recognition to everyone that helps. What doesnt get donated I will pay for myself, it will just take MUCH longer that way. I think someone would get a real kick out of it. Thanks in advance guys.

Tom, where you located?
I can swing a vinyl body wrap if I can get the body to me, Chester Va. Would need Pictures of the Hope for Warriors Logo and then spend paint monies somewhere else. |

I have my 92 DS sitting at the wrappers shop now. (for sale, He is my cousin) It might be easier to do the wrap for the body here and send it to Ga if someone there can apply it properly. I still gotta check with him in the AM. |
