What's the status of this? Such a good cause, I would still like to be a part of it.

So, we never heard from GABulldog? That's to bad. Until we know the OP is still game no since and getting it to GA. What would be cool if this does not turn out, would be start trailering the cart around the country so everybody can get their hands on it. Each person will do something different to the cart and in the end we send it to the man in charge of this wonderful forum!

I don't know how long it has been since anyone has heard from GABulldog but since the beginning of this idea the cart was to get to him for the build. If were not hearing from him (hope all is well) we may need to find someone else to do the build. Plenty of folks are ready to relay the cart from it's current location to the build location, as well as donate misc. parts etc. I have become a lot more familiar with the Wounded Warrior's since GABulldog brought this idea up and there are great things being done by this organization. I'd like to see this project come to fruition and I'm willing to get more involved, but I'm not the guy to do the build. Any thoughts?

i wish i could do the build it would be done already............i can do alot with the cart right where its at, i,ll need a complete wiring harness a controller to start, i have some parts i can use, this cart was a reagan 2 and i think we want to just make it a series i beleive we talked about that somewhere.......regardless i,m still in it till the finish whenever that is.......you know other than getting the body ready and a paint job i don,t see why i can,t do it myself...........................

I'm still hanging around too, and I actually live about 30 minutes from GABulldog (I don't know him though). I live about 45 minutes west of Atlanta.

I'll have two weeks around Christmas where I'm sure I'd be able to complete the meat of the build if needed. Other than that I don't have much to donate. So if someone did get a hair up their butt to get the cart down here I could take up with the build. I have a trailer so I could even pick it up from the guy with the body wrap.

....I actually do have an old Club Car that I'm building to sell, but I can't really 'donate' it because it was purchased with family funds, but I could let it go for $300. Overall it'll just need batteries, a solenoid, and some wires.

Just expressing interest, and throwing ideas out.

I just sent and IM to GABulldog...Let's see if he jumps back in. If not and we want to run with this...I submit that we assemble a small group that will "Chair" this thing and take on some real responsibility in securing the cart (which is done), getting it from point A to point B, and handle the ongoing solicitation for required parts as well as initiating contact with the Warrior Program. I think that an action plan managed by a small board group with clear responsibilities will take us from talking to action. Let's see if we hear from GABulldog Thinking out loud again.
