1986 club car electrical question

I have a 1986 Club Car. I have been on here reading posts for 2 hours and still can't figure this thing out. PLEASE HELP! when I jump the master solenoid the motor runs. With the key on, all solenoids are clicking. Lights work. Reverse buzzer works. batteries are fairly new. Car was working awsomely and then suddenly stopped. Looked inside and saw one of the resister coils was somehow detached (looked like it wore out or melted in a small place.) reconnected it and still nothing. cables are all 8 ga. solid copper in good condition. all terminals are freshly wire brushed, tightened and coated with anti corrosion spray. I am getting 38V at F/R switch and follow it to the large lug on all first four solenoids. My question is this: Can you give me a step by step process of getting voltage readings from the key through the microprocessors and on to the solenoids. I'm not sure what I should be reading on each of the 2 small lugs on each of the solenoids. Thanks for any help, this is driving me crazy.

You should be reading pack voltage at the 2 small posts when the solenoid is activated

I just finished another test. I am getting 38V at each of the small lugs on the last 4 solenoids when i depress that particular micro switch. I am not getting 38 V at the Master lugs small or large.

If the micro switches appear to be working and I can jump the master solenoid. Is that 100% bad master solenoid??

that was a fat finger Typo...

No, sounds more like a solenoid activation failure.... not getting the 36v at the 2 sm posts.

Okay, after further testing. With the pedal down and the key on, I am getting 38v everywhere across the solenoids except the big lug of the master solenoid going to the motor. the master also sounds 50% weaker in its click than the other 4. What do you think?

try swapping soleniods see if that cures it if so than replace bad one......its either soleniod or micro switch as scotty said...........................
