Control for Micro Switch Activation
All, I have a 1983 Club Car DS 36v system. It hits really hard on take off, decided to replace all solenoids/micro swithches since I think the original ones are still on there and know some of them are not functioning properly. While looking at the micro switches I noticed that the plastic piece that slides in the box is worn. I can see buy watching it that all of the micro switches are not engageing due to this wear to the plastic and switches. For the interim I bent the ends of the switches to engage properly and built up the sliding plastic piece that is connected to the pedal with electrical tape, basically to counter the wear marks. Now all 5 engage, however, this is a temporary fix. Does anyone know where I can get either a new micro switch box and/or the plasic piece that slides and hooks to the pedal linkage? I have searched everywhere and it is not depicted on any of the schematics that I have seen, they just show the micro switches themselves, no box or slider.
Thanks, DJS |
