Default Club Car AC system drives off on it's own !

Electronic devices do strange things. I have a CC Carryall 6 LSV with a three phase AC drive system , and I had a 12 volt outlet installed on the voltage converter that came stock with the cart. Although it is rated for the amperage that I am asking of the converter, when I plug my (small) sprayer into it, the controller will wig out and the cart will lurch forward and back randomly. The first time it did it, the cart took off and rolled about five feet then stopped. Needless to say I set the brake !!! I guess the motor in the sprayer is sending some weird feedback to the controller ??? So if you have one of these carts be aware of this . It could be dangerous.
I guess I too will need to rig up a portable battery pack to power my sprayer : (

From the look on my Dog's face , he was thinking about jumping behind the wheel and making a clean getaway since he had the cart all to himself and it was running on it's own !!! If he could reach the pedals he would have done it long ago !

It's just too funny I can imagine the look on my face standing there drinking a beer and off goes the cart...all by itself I'm sure the folks outside my office right now are wondering WTH is he laughing at. Too funny man...thanks for the laugh.

Heee Hee... any time, any time : )
I don't trust old Coconut (the dog). After I posted that, I found a soldering iron under his dog bed and a bunch of circuit parts. Mystery solved. He has apparently gone McGyver on me and rigged some sort of remote throttle in my rig. Bad dog. No wonder the folks I bought my house from left him here !!!

are there any tiny capacitors across the motor terminals on the sprayer?

small brushed motors make all sorts of nasty EMI/RFI w/o these filters. a 3 capacitor filter should make a HUGE difference if there isn't one already.
