and the answer was that the OBC has a lockout built into it so when the charger is plugged in it is supposed to shut down the drive system.

if so!! we can rig a relay with a switch, off of the charge receptacle, so when he wants to use the converter he flips the switch and the cart drive system is locked out and the converter is turned on.

Do you think it is RF that is causing this craziness?
It is random too , this lurching and spontaneous take off... Very odd.
Was the key on when this happened does it have to be on for the converter to work.

A couple of the Guys around her just use large clips and clip on one battery to run there sprayers

It does it if the key is on or off, and if the FNR switch is in N. I set the parking brake and the cart doesn't move, but it wants to...
I am not sure how I would do your idea with this on board charger, but I will look at it. I couldn't spray and move though, I like to run down fence lines and shoot roundup on them. When I do this now, the cart will drive but it stumbles, speeds ups slows down, etc. I have tried to stick to a battery jumper box from my wifes car to power it cause I am afraid of burning up my controller, and since it is an AC controller would be $$$$. But the jumper box runs down before I can finish...

I think I would just run a seperate 12 volt battery for the sprayer. That way you could also move it around in different positions to see if the original problem was just electrical interference or back feeding.
