Default Using Battery Tenders

I am going to have to leave my cart for about three weeks. I am worried about leaving the charger on while I gone. The temps have been around a 100 deg everyday. Can I disconnect the batteries and put battery tenders on them like I put on my motorcycles. Thanks.

If you are only going to be gone for three weeks I would not worry about battery discharge. I would be sure that battery pack is fully charged and distilled water is 1/4" above plates before leaving and put charger on after you return.

New batteries come from the store that are over 1 month old and they don't have a battery tender attached to them before you buy, just recharge before you use it like OLD MEC said.

If you have a run/tow switch place it in the tow mode.
