Question Battery drain (why?)

I have a 36 volt 1988 Club Car. When I charge it, with no use, the batteries drain completely in about 2 days. Also, when fully charged, the cart moves
without depressing the accelerator (both in forward and reverse). Can anyone help me with what might be wrong? Thanks!!!

welcome to BGW..............sounds like your master soleniod is staying engaged that would accout for both problems...............if you have 5 soleniods its the one furthest left drivers side without a coil mounted to it....if its a single soleniod its in front between the center batteries...........you can try tapping it to see if it disengages and check cart or just buy a new one..................................
