Default Hill Brake not catching

I have an 08 Precedent, the brakes are working fine but it is difficult to get the hill brake to catch. I have to press on it pretty hard to get it to catch. Is there an adjustment that can be made? Any other advice??

I looked underneathe and appears that everything is covered up, what next?

you should be able to adjust the racthett on the pedal.....whats it all covered with?............................

If its anything like my 04 there is an access panel under the rubber floor mat behind the brake pedal.

The adjustment, worked for a while and now it wont catch at all. How do you get to the brake pedal assembly???

Pull the rubber mat remove the peddal assembly
