Default motor starts hard when initiating go

I have a club car 1999 DS 36 volt. I just put new batteries and it has been working great except that when I initiate the pedal and the motor kicks on it makes a louder than normal noise. It sounds like it hits hard as if it were a transmission changing gears. it doesnt really affect the ride at all but I was curious if anyone new what causes that and if that is a warning sign of something going out? thanks

THe sound could be caused by many things like motor loose on differential housing, Motor outboard bearing worn, guide ring inside motor output shaft, loose differential spring U bolts, shocks or shock bushings? Most common would be the Guide Ring that takes up play between the motor inner shaft and the differential input shaft.
Club Car part numbers
Guide Ring #101789101
Retaining Ring #101822801
Adhesive #101813202
