I just made my own with #2 welding cable, I already had large lug crimps 3' long it squeezes the hell out of the crimps.

yea but............. open one of those battery crimps when it's 4 months old and seperatethe strands of wire that were at the crimp point....
you wil note a large degree of oxidation at the point and angle where each wire meets the other..... |

as tight as you can seal with heat shrink.....fumes of H2So4..... Hydrogen sulfide..... seem to penetrate oh---and yes one more thing..my world is not perfect....how do i climb into yours ??? ok---i pass to scotty now |

i was trying all different way to crimp the connectors when by accident and frustrated i tried a SMALL tool i have used for 20 years making small size wire connector crimps... GUESS WHAT...it works great for #4 copper battery terminal crimps and it not expensive this is the chiepest i have seen it for http://www.mytoolstore.com/ideal/ide12-06.html |
