yes FD is correct......shudderes are an indication of dead batteries.......start with the basics, check water and add distilled water only if needed......1/8 inch above the lead plates..............pull tug all cables make sure they are very clean and tight then load test each battery ...............i think you,ll find your problem in the batteries or cables....if your not sure about the cables put a new set on.....get yourself a digital voltage meter you,ll need it...........lastly is it a 36 or 48 volt cart? oh and welcome to BGW...........................

Thanks guys you were right after charging it it was fine and I didn't think that was the case because I just put in all new trojan batteries 2 weeks ago and broke them in like the sticky said. I asked my girls and they said it was plugged in the night before and they only used it a short period of time before it started shuttering. I've owned the cart for 4 years and it never did that before but who knows you learn something new every day Thanks again Glenn
PS it a 48 volt
