Default Precedent Headlight Replacement

I have the Precedent headlight bar that has the two headlights with amber
bulbs on either side of them. One of the headlights is out. How do I access it and what bulb replaces it. Does the clear cover just pop off or do the bulbs go in from the backside?

there is two 4 inch bolts that hold the lights and bumper in place. take those bolts out and pull. you may need to use a lot of pressure to get this off. you will then see how the bulbs come out.

Thanks! I found the bolts. Will a parts house have a replacement bulb?

A parts house will have the bulb. It's the same type of bulb that goes into a factory fog light of a 1999 Z71 Tahoe Just make sure you match up the wattage to the bulb you remove. There are several different wattage bulbs that will fit. They should have them all.

They are an 800 series bulb, I just pulled the LED bulbs out of my cart and replaced them with an HID KIT. The LED bulbs use very little power but they don't project well, so doing 30 mph down a dark road you can't see far enough ahead to be safe.

Thanks. , I understand, just want enough light for other people to see me and to appear responsible. I only need the lights to get home in a pinch in case I overstayed my welcome or got delayed due to weather

I only drive fast during the day and on smooth roads

My neighborhood has lighted 10' wide (cart friendly) sidewalks, so no dark and scary roads unless I leave the beaten path. But if I stray, I'll need HID lights as there are too many aligators and other bitey critters to worry about
