05 precedent stops suddenly then starts working again

Greetings
I have a 05 precedent that will occasionally stop while your driving it. If you put it in reverse it might or might not go. After about a minute it will run normally. Batteries are in good shape. Anyone know what's wrong?

have you checked the terminals at each battery for corrosion.

when the cart stops and you try to make it go..do you hear the "SOLONOID" click as you first step on the pedal


(by the way i am upgrading my curtis 1510 controller and solonoid next week and will have them both available for a small $$$ )

Yes you do here a click in forward and reverse. The battteries terminals are clean and the cart had only been driven 15 to 20 minutes.

take off the seat and remove the BLACK center plastic cover ...inspect the solonoid for burnt terminals also controller connections and last pull off the rear plate (back outside of cart) and check tightness of motor wires )

sounds like somewhere you are generating heat....

I took off the cover. It was very dusty so I blew it off. and checked the connections. All were tight and clean. So perhaps I can check the motor wires this evening.
