CC DS Roof modification
Guys
Has anyone modified a DS roof frame to simply bolt to the cowl and not connect to the other side where it crosses the cowl. I would like to see more of the cowl when I do custom paint and not have the roof frame in my cowl view similar to an ezgo. Thoughts?? BTW removing the roof is not and option |

Re: CC DS Roof modification
other than the two spots where it bolts down i don,t see why you couldn,t cut it out if you wanted.....only issue i can think about is windsheild but it should still work...............

Re: CC DS Roof modification
Thinking the same thing Shadow..was curious about weakening the support. I currently have no windshield and living in Houston it's not a big deal with few cold months here. Rain is no real concern for my use. I actually removed my windshield to get more airflow for myself and my lab who likes to ride. From an aesthetic standpoint in my view it would be an improvement to the front end and cowl. Anyone else try this or am I the first knucklehead

http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/desig...eld-cc-ds.html I made brackets to move back the mounting point so that I would not cover up the custom paint job I had done on the front cowl. In my case, I wanted to keep the windshield so this was the only solution I could come up with to display the whole front cowl and keep the roof on. I was very pleased with the outcome. Re: CC DS Roof modification
Looks good. Could you post a couple of pictures with a full shot of your entire cart so I could see the overall look. One from the front and one from the side.
Thanks ! |

My motor is burnt up so I'll have to push it out of the garage. It will be a day or two but I'll get you some pictures.
