Will a Schauer Charger work with Club Car
A question for the experts please. I just puchased a new Schauer charger from Everything Carts and it will come on but never go into charge mode. Is this charger compatible for Club Car - it was advertised as a Power Drive for Club Car. I borrowed my neighbors old Power Drive charger and it charges just fine. Here are the facts:
Cart - 2005 DS IQ Regen Electric 48 volt - brand new 11 trojans - brand new controller Charger - Schauer 15 amp 48 volt - Model# JAC1548H - switch set to flooded batteries |

I am no expert, but you will need to bypass the black power wire from charge receptacle to obc, to battery. This is a stand alone charger correct does not need an obc.

Re: Will a Schauer Charger work with Club Car
I spoke with someone at Schauer and they confirmed that I need to do a by-pass for this charger to work - would someone post or tell me where I can find the steps for this by-pass procedure?
