Does it do the same thing when you plug the charger into the ac prior to plugging dc into cart receptacle?

No clicks when just plugging in ac plug.

No voltage at the pos. and neg prongs on the dc plug when the ac plug is plugged in.......which was one of the checks from previous. So all that is good.

New turn of events.......went to jump the 2 wires from the relay just to charge the cart up for a while....(pack is still at 48v) and when I jumped the 2 wires and charge the cart, it only charges it for a minutes just like it was when I replaced the relay and then shuts off.

i,m not 100% certain but the last charger i repaired that was acting like that......it would charge for 30 seconds and sometimes pop the charger breaker sometimes not.................anyways the heatsink and diodes ........the top diode was bad.......replaced the heatsink and diodes along with the breaker cause became weak and charger operates like new............................

Now im confused. I took the charger to club car and they bench tested it......said it was good. I watched them and the charger stayed on the whole time. Thinking OBC now.

ok if you have checked everything and the charger checks out good on another known good cart and by benchtesting yes that would point towards the OBC.....................i have personally never seen an OBC go bad in quite that way but that dosn,t mean anything.............one thing i have learned about the OBC going bad is never take anything for granted with them cause as soon as you think you have it figured out it will throw you a curveball...........but theres really nothing left other than the OBC.........................................

Yeah, it seems like things are getting more confusing rather then less with trouble shooting. OBC at the dealer is $200. Cheaper then I thought but not exactly cheap. Searched ebay and a few other places and cant find my OBC anywhere else as cheap as the dealer is selling......go figure!

*UPDATE*

Ended up getting a great deal on an OBC from my local dealer......who would have thought!!!! INstalled new OBC...........all is well and working great!

Quick question......it came with a grounding wiring wired through it??? It has a connection on both ends and seems like it has no business being there....LOL! Where is this supposed to go? Old one didnt have it and I obviously dont need it. Im guessing its used on other carts that use the same part number OBC?

Just wanted to thank everyone for helping me troubleshoot the problem. Truley appreciatted!
