BATTERY WIRES crimp or solder --see photos
Hear ye all disbelievers in soldering....
i just rewired my 2005 club car precedent from factory standard of #6 crimp only to #4 crimp and solder.... this photo is a clean terminal with factory wire note the heatshrink and color of the battery terminal...no problems now let me strip off the heatshrink..and look at the photo below the next photo is where i removed the wire off the motor and that was the worst.... I removed the heatshrink to find a terminal BEGINNING to burn..again FACTORY #6 and ONLY crimped..... so I my humble opinion......if the club car factory can do a lousy job of making crimped wires.... what make anyone here think crimping only is good enough TIME TO LEARN TO SOLDER ....click on How to Make Cables http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...ry-cables.html Let the Rebuttle Games Begin |

a properly crimped closed end lug forms a gas tight joint. how are you going to improve a connection with a liquid, when the joint is impenetrable by air? -sj |

Use real lugs and heatshrink with the glue instead of those Big Lots lugs and you wont have any problems with crimped connections
