Default where to buy, just the hardware needed to install passenger seat on 2002 club car?

Does anyone out there have an idea how a fella could install a rear passenger seat on a 2002 club car with roof top on it. I just want to be able to haul my grandkids around on back and of course the wife with me...LOL Anyway...I called buggies unlimited and they only sell the seat and hardware as a kit which is quite expensive and just don't have the money to put out for that. I could make my own seat with plywood...foam and vinyl material if I could just get the needed hardware to install it. I imagine that is why they don't sell it separetly as they would'nt make the big bucks. Anyway any suggestions as to how to go about it without the big expense would be welcome. Thanks in advance. Tinker,

You can build your own back seat kit for a lot less than what some places are asking. There's a thread open on it
Here. You can also look at My build thread for my cart for pics of my back seat kit Here.

if you know the bolt diameter you want or need, find a Tractor Supply. You can buy bolts, washers, nuts, etc by the pound in any grade up to Grade 8. They are the best place for a chain to buy that kind of stuff. That's where I got mine. I was in the $5-$10 range. (I bought other stuff too so exact price escapes me at the moment.

Hope that helps

Good luck to you.

Arin

Thanks, BumbleBee, the pics on your site has gave me a few clues of how to pursue this project. I was thinking that someone out there has surely made one of these back seat brackets without putting out the 300.+ dollars to get the regulation one. Looks like yours is coming along very nicely. I just wish I had a welder, I have a brother in law with one, if he'd just let me use it for awhile. I'll figure something out. Thankyou so much for your quick response. Tinkerman
