Default 97 cc Jumpy at start

I had to replaice the pot box under my cart. I found the old one had broken and went forward but in reverse it crept. I put a new factory cc pot box in. It now works. My problem is that now when you accelerate the cart at first kicks to full speed then goes to normal speed after the initial push of the accelerator. Is there an adjustment to the pot box controler that I need to make to fix this problem. Everything worked perfectly until I changed the box out. The housing had been cracked and I didnt want to get to a campground and then it stop working. So I replaiced the box. Anybodies knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

That's weird. Are you describing a full throttle start and then the cart goes slower as you push the gas?

What happened was i accidently broke the switch in the pot box. I replaiced with A new stock cc pot box. When you push the pedal it jumps up and goes at top speed. if you keep pressing on the pedal it levals out and goes at the right speed. This happens in forward and reverse. before i broke the switch the cart worked perfect. Does the actuator lever need to be adjusted or is the micro switch bad. would the micro switch make it jump like that?

No they didnt ask. I am going to test tom. and see how its set. They asked what year and make the cart was. She ordered the part. I looks just like the box i took off. I did notice the flat plate on the pivot rod ***. was bent a little. I re bent back flat. the carts works just bucks at first push of the pedal. I have all new batteries. and cables.
