Default cc charging question

Guys

When I plug my charger in to my 2003 DS IQ it goes thru a quick test cycle then begins to charge. I've read where that's normal. I also noticed however that every time it comes on and starts charging it will charge for around a minute then shut off for a few seconds then begin to charge again then stays on and charges properly and shuts off properly. Is it also normal for the charger to momently shut off each time after the first 30 seconds or so then start charging again? The first time I noticed it I thought it was a fluke or maybe a bad plug connection that caused it but alas it happens each time. All else is normal.

Thanks

Oops yes 2003 not 93. Shadow if you reread what i posted it delays comes on goes off and then comes on again. It's when it shuts off then comes back on I'm questioning not the initial test period before it comes on. I edited the year model.

Thanks
