What is best to buy questions. (Bat / lift)

~ Ignition key? Are they universal? Bought 97 CC without key, not sure if switch is good or bad, if key is universal, would be less expensive to purchase key than an entire switch and key assembly.

~ Lift kits, almost mind boggling over all the kits that are out there, I want to run 25” tire (already have set from quad). I was told a 6 inch lift will not allow the 25” to fit, in reviewing I see a few 7.5” lifts that advertise up to 26” tires will run. Just want to make sure I ask the right question before spending funds.

~ Batteries, CC takes 6 8V batteries, what brands are better than others?

~ Battery cables, I am missing all of mine, what gauge of wire is best? I see several 6 gauge sets on eBay.

Slow down

You can not put 25" tires on a cart and expect it to perform with stock electronic components. Those components were designed for 2 men to roll along a cart path on 18s.
You will need to upgrade your controller, solenoid, cables, and maybe more depending upon which drive system you have.
So lets start by determining that from the chart below.
OH & yes, the keys are universal.

In reviewing the chart provided, I have a series cart. I can reduce the tires to 22's for I have another set left over from the Yamaha racing days.

What other info is required to establish what is best for this transformation? Won this evening on eBay a CC Power Drive 3 CC 48V charger for $50.00, much less expensive than what was for sale locally. Hope it works as advertised upon arrival.
