1983 Electric and Inclines?
Looking at buying a 83 Electric club car with 1yr old batteries. I know very little about golf carts so buying one is a bit scary. Will be using it in a campground, the campground has some steep inclines that are about a block long. My question, Will this cart being stock have enough torque to climb inclines like this. Me and my wife are not what you would say not small people. I'm 6'4 330 pounds, wife is 6'2 230 pounds. Speed is not really a factor, I will be in no hurry!! Thnaks for the help..
Ps. What a neat site and forums, very informative and cool!

Re: 1983 Electric and Inclines?
welcome to BGW..............to answer your question in my opinion no it won,t be any good for you.......if they are just slight inclines yes but if these are block long hills and with your weights i would think your gonna be real unhappy.......elec. carts slow down on inclines anyways its just the nature of them.....................you might get away with a 48 volt cart making it up the hills but i think your wasting your money on a 36 volt cart...................
