long charging cycle?
I have an '02 DS IQ 48 volt cart. The last two times I have charged the batteries, it charged over 24 hrs. The last time it had not shut off after 36 hrs, and it was reading 5 amps on the gauge. Do I need new batteries?
Thanks |

Re: long charging cycle?
probably. how old are the batteries? have you checked the voltage on each cell?
it could be the OBC. its supposed to timeout at 16 hours, but its been known to misbehave with dying batteries. -sj |

Re: long charging cycle?
regardless your charger should shut off after 16 hours......wether the batteries are charged or not so i would keep an eye on things ......it could be your OBC went bad and won,t let the charger shut off.......................

Re: long charging cycle?
I plugged it in again last night. This morning it had shut off. Maybe I'm OK?
