Default Battery light blinking

I have a 1995 club car, rebuilt in 1999. Battery light blinks, on for 5 seconds, off 5 seconds, on 5 seconds, off 5 seconds, on 25 seconds, then repeats this sequence. Charger won't come on when I plug it in. (Charger works, I checked it on a different cart) Any suggestions?

How old are the batteries? Have you done a hydrometer check on each battery? All terminals/connections good?

I would start there and give an update with added information.

It is a 48volt. (6, 8volt batteries, 2 years old). The dash light is orange. I pulled the gray wire, nothing happened. Guess it's the OBC. Thanks,

if it has an orange light someone at the very least bought an OBC for it chances are installed it to but the only way to get that orange light for the cart was to buy an OBC kit......which came with the OBC a new updated light and a new grey wire.......in 1995 thur 97 they had issues with the grey wire also .........don,t be surprised if when you buy the new OBC that it comes with a dash light and a grey wire.......i wouldn,t install either of them just hang on to them.............................

Still haven't found my problem, but I have an update.
I found the red wire was loose on the charger receptacle and repaired it. However, the charger would still not come on (it only clicked).
Here is the brainteaser for me. I borrowed my neighbors cart and swapped the charger receptacles. His works on my cart. I them put my receptacle on his cart and believe it or not, IT WORKS! I switched them back and mine still won't work on my cart. It the moment I have his receptacle on my cart recharging my batteries.
Ever heard of a problem like this?

no i havn,t his receptical works on your cart and yours works on his but it won,t work on yours???? that makes no sense what so ever......the only advice i can give you is if they are working on both carts as is..................yours on his cart and his on your cart why not ask him if you can just leave them that way.

Thanks for the quick response.
Makes no sense to me either but I telling it straight.
My neighbor suggested the same thing as you, so I'll do that.
Thanks again.
