Golf cart value?
What is the value of a 1983 Electric Club car. The cart looks to be in very good shape, has a rear seat and roof. The batts are about 1.5 yrs old. There asking $1000. $1000 seems like allot of money for a 28 yr old cart. I'm from southern Mn if that makes much difference..

Re: Golf cart value?
if they are top of line batteries or even close with a back seat and in good shape 1000 is worth it........figure a good set of batteries is going to set you back 600.00 the rear seat kit is worth 350.00 so its not all bad.........here in PA that cart they would ask a minimum of 1500.00.................the drawbacks to the cart are thats its a multi soleniod resistor cart and theres really no upgrading it as it sits......you would need to replace the resistor/ soleniod setup with a controller setup so you,ll be looking at approx 700.00 to upgrade but when your done for the 1700.00 you have invested now you have a cart.........oh and welcome....................................

Re: Golf cart value?
Def agree with shadow on this one...here in Florida that car would sell all day for $1000 bux and the charger is worth another 200-300 bux on top of the batteries and back seat kit.

Re: Golf cart value?
I paid $800.00 for my 1988 with lets just say less than desireable batteries (live and learn huh) but I would say if all works well on the cart and the batteries are good, and I mean real good, you should not get burnt to bad at that price.

Well, I picked it up for $1000. I'll start pimping it up this winter.
