Resetting the OBC (precedent)

My battery light does not work, so I thought I would reset the OBC......

I'm having no luck resetting the OBC on my precedent. I followed the sticky exactly (twice), but the reverse buzzer never sounded. Is this normal for a precedent, as the sticky doesn't mention any particular models.

The only symptom my cart has is that the battery light will not light up.

I did replace it with a new one, but still has same problem. The cart has no other problems. I cut the power to the charger while it was charging, let batts get very low, but can't get the light to function.

Advice from anyone is appreciated

Found an old post by shadow, said 2001 and up have no buzzer sound when resetting the OBC. If this is true, than my reset issues with the OBC are over, I guess?

Still can't figure out the freakin' light, though

Put in a state of charge meter, it's prewired for it, just plug and play!

I already have a meter installed. I have OCD and want everything working perfectly, that's all. It is just perplexing me as to why that light wont work
