First Club Car
I am looking at buying a used, refurbished, Club Car about 2 years old. I want a 4 seater to use around RV campground. Dealer said it would have new batteries, tires and seats. Also he installed extra spring in the rear axle to carry four adults.
I would appreciate any suggestions on what to consider when buying. Tks JD |

Re: First Club Car
You won't get too many replies, so I'll try to help:
I wouldn't limit yourself to a 2 year old cart. CC carts are very reliable if properly maintained. Ask yourself what do you want in a cart, and then look for one that suits your needs. Shop around, and if you buy it from a dealer, get a warranty. You have no idea if that cart was once in the bottom of a lake. Things to check: Take the caps off the batteries and look inside them. Look at the frame and other components. Look at the motor and wiring. How worn are the floor mat and pedals? (indicators of use) A 2 year old cart should look brand new. Take it for a long drive and note any problems, if any. Good luck |

Re: First Club Car
Personally, I would be curious why a 2 year old CC needs to be "refurbished" with new tires and seats . . . adding a rear seat would typically need HD springs also . . . what price is he asking? I bought a 2006 DS for $1500 from a dealer recently . . . shop around if his price seems high . .
