Default CC DS no go

My 2000 CC DS 48v has intermittently, in the last two weeks, refused to go. I'd rock it a bit w/my leg and all okay. I checked cables and tightened. Then it melted a battery post. I replaced the battery but it still won't go, nor will it charge. I also don't hear the click when depressing the accelerator. All batteries are at full charge as is the pack. Have I lost a controller? Any thoughts appreciated.

I forgot to add that when I first turn the key on and press the pedal, it gives a slight lurch (F or R). I must turn off the key to repeat.

no if it won,t charge nor will it runmore than likely you lost the OBC..........can you try your charger on another cart or another charger on your cart? if so try that to make sure......as for the post melting that could have been a loose/dirty connection that caused that...did you only swap 1 battery? and its installed correct?..........hows the fuse on the back of the charge receptical on cart ? ok...............if so and battery is in right and they are fully charged than i wouls suspect the OBC...................

Prior to working on the battery replacement, did you remember to place vehicle in TOW mode?

The pack is old, 2007, and I'm trying to make it last until spring, so, yes, I only replaced one battery. The fuse is good, all installed correctly and no tow mode on this model. I did disconnect the pack + and - cables before replacing the battery. Thanks to both of you for the help, much appreciated.
I found an article on restting the OBC, guess it can't hurt?

Resetting OBC didn't help. Tomorrow I'll check every connection. Barring a lucky find, can anyone explain the OBC removal process, or point me to documentation? Thanks again to all you folks who make this site so great.

resetting the OBC is a crap shoot at best as far as i,m concerned its meaningless thats why i don,t mention it......sometimes it works more than it does it dosn,t and when it does its temporary at best......the OBC controls charging and in a lot of cases it won,t let the cart run .....you can try plugging your charger in and driving cart if cart runs than 100% OBC but even if not with your symptons theres nothing else unless you have more than 1 problem.........................................

Thanks to those who advised; the OBC was shot.
The thread on "bypassing the OBC" helped me confirm diagnosis.
